EXPEDITION DONATION PAGE
The Peru Yavari Expedition 2015 will involve sixteen young people, a leader and two adult support staff. They will start their trek up the Andes from Tacna 550m above sea level, in southern Peru and are expected to reach Puno on Lake Titicaca, 3,810m, on 25th August.
Prior to departure they will attend an Awareness Day in London and a training weekend in North Wales. In between whiles, they will be preparing and running fundraising events in order to contribute a share of the total.
The TOTAL required is £75,000.
The Expedition is being organised by Wilderness Expertise (WE) who will provide:
An Awareness Day, training weekend and a pre-departure final check day, a fully qualified and experienced leader, flights (international and internal), a Peruvian guide, hostels, transport, pack animals, food, comprehensive travel, medical and baggage insurance, public and professional liability insurance, ATOL bond, 24/7 back up and on-call support run by WE’s Director, 24/7 on-call Expedition Doctor (UK based), CEGA emergency back-up and support, all safety and medical equipment(incl. tents, satellite phone, First Aid kits, water purification, Full office support, logistics and planning throughout and personal service, Post Expedition Report and student individual personal reports, ASDAN Universities Award and a Contingency Budget.
